How to use BRICS Pay

1. Install the app

   Android: Google Play — com.bricsPay by NB PAY FZCO.
   iOS: App Store (id6751258985). Both apps are free.

2. Open registration

   On the onboarding screens tap “Sign Up”. The country-of-citizenship page opens. Important: not every country in the world is currently available for registration — the list is updated periodically. If your country is missing, you will not be able to register until it is added.

3. Choose phone or email

   By phone: enter the number, wait for the 6-digit 2FA code by SMS, confirm it. If the code does not arrive, the “Resend Code” button becomes available after 60 seconds. After 4 wrong attempts the process resets.

   By email: enter the address, set a password (8–64 characters: upper/lower latin letters, digits, special characters), confirm the 2FA code from the email.

4. Set Passcode and Face ID

   Create a 6-digit Passcode for entering the app and confirm it. Optionally enable Face ID (or fingerprint) — speeds up sign-in. The step can be skipped.

5. Complete KYC

   From the profile section start verification: upload a passport or ID, take a selfie. All data is processed by certified Payment Service Providers (PSP). Verification takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.

6. Link a bank card

   In the Bank Cards section add a card. Supported:

   • Visa — main card (depends on issuing country and bank).
   • Mastercard — not yet available, support coming.
   • National cards (Mir, RuPay, UnionPay, ELO) — gradually as integrations roll out.

   You don’t need to open a new account — the system works with your existing card.

7. Top up the balance

   In the top-up section pick a linked card, set the amount and currency. Funds land on the app balance and are displayed in the chosen currency.

8. Pay by QR — 4 steps

   1. Find the QR code at the till, on the receipt or on the terminal screen.
   2. Open the app → tap “Scan QR”.
   3. Scan the code — the app shows the amount and merchant details.
   4. Confirm the payment — funds are debited from the balance.

   Alternative: open your QR code in the app and let the cashier scan it. In Russian cafes and restaurants there is often a separate QR for tips — ask the waiter which one is for the bill.

9. Activate the referral code

   After registration, in the referral section (Promo / Referral / Bonus) enter XO6XJLND and confirm. If the section is not visible yet — it appears after the referral feature is released; details on the “Referral code” page.
